The Role

At Black Star Pastry, we believe beautiful food deserves a beautiful journey.

From our kitchens to our stores, customers and partners, every delivery plays a part in creating the experience our customers know and love.
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Casual Delivery Driver to help ensure our handcrafted products arrive fresh, flawless, and on time.
If you take pride in your work, enjoy being on the road, and understand that consistency and care matter just as much as speed — we’d love to hear from you.

Ideally, we are looking for someone that can help us on Weekdays AND Weekends - your roster might look like 1-3 weekday shifts (e.g. 7am- 11am) and maybe 1-2 weekend shifts of the same length.

Our aim is always to determine a roster that works for all, and ensures positive work/life balance. 

About You

• Previous experience as a driver in a larger vehicle. (HV licence not required)
• Able to build effective and constructive relationships – a true team player!
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Understanding of safe food handling practices and safe working procedures.
• Good judgement and confident to make informed decisions.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing business demands.
• Passionate about prompt service and delivering a quality product.
• Positive ambassador of the BSP brand.
• Valid driver’s licence

Our Business

Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with four stores across Sydney and two in Melbourne.

We are most famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake which has become a social media sensation, with the New York Times declaring it “the world’s most instagrammed cake.”
